いい大人なのに実践型ってちょっと恥ずかしくね？
「実践型！」「動きやすい！」「軽い！」「クネクネ」
という文句につられて学生さんみたいな剣道具を選ぶ人がいます。
学生には学生の剣道具の選び方があります。
大人には大人の剣道具の選び方があります。
学生は特に試合がメイン、
面布団は短く、柔らかく。
とにかく動きやすさを求めます。
大人は？と聞かれたら。
それはもう、立ち姿でしょう。
身につけるだけで背筋がピンっと伸びるような
防具を身に着けて構えてるだけで打ち込めない。。。そんな立ち姿を作っていきたいものです。
にもかかわらず、面布団短すぎ（18cm？）、甲手布団短すぎ（規定違反）、胴幅狭すぎ（おじさんだからお腹出てるのに。。）って、指導者なのに学生に見間違えられてしまいますよ。
昔は先生の剣道具に憧れていたものでした。
「オラもいつか将来、あんな防具がほしい。。。」
今がその時です。
実践型は卒業して、大人に相応しい剣道具を選んでください。
